A Casual Destination Elopement in Napa

These two cuties were nervous and excited to fly in from Boston to Napa for a Destination Elopement in beautiful California Wine Country.

Rebecca and Thomas chose the recorders office in downtown Napa to have their elopement ceremony. With me as their solo witness, photographer and new friend in attendance, they said I do in a private room. Rebecca chose to have her something Blue be her adorable coat, and her bouquet be her something new.

I absolutely loved the spontaneity we had in going up and down the street where they tied the knot and utilizing the unique design of the parking garage for portraits near the office where their ceremony took place. Rebecca even took a moment to snag a white “Napa” themed sweatshirt too as a keepsake from a cute fifth street shop. (I should’ve grabbed one too, it was very cute.)

After their ceremony, we then drove over to St. Helena for a wine tasting and more photos. We arrived at V. Sattui, so excited to capture some beautiful pictures at the winery.

Their portraits were fun and a mix of candid and posed. After which they invited me for a wine tasting and I learned more about them as a couple and as individuals. They recently had put an offer in on a house as well as tying the knot. So there was lots to celebrate!

Update: They closed on their house a couple months later. They hope to have another event with their friends and family in attendance in the future as well in Rebecca’s home country. So happy for them!
