I first met Chris and Mary-Kate in my hometown of Cape May New Jersey. Then strangers, I was hired to shoot their proposal on a rainy afternoon. After spending only 30 mins with the newly engaged couple I felt like I’ve know them forever. I was then asked to be their wedding photographer and my heart exploded with happiness! Due to Covid Chris and Mary-Kate had to postpone their wedding like much of the 2020 couples.
We were planning for next year when Chris asked if I could make it to Spring Lake, New Jersey because they wanted to do the dang thing anyway.
It was a no brainer to me and I made my way up to gorgeous Spring Lake. Chris and Mary-Kate shared their vows with close family in person and FaceTime. Their vows were very intimate, deep and personal to one another. There were no words, it was just beautiful, like them. Mary-Kates florals came from Rhode Island, made by her sister with her family members pictures in the center of the bouquet. We were able to take some amazing photos on the lake where we found a boat for photo-opts. Come 2020 I have the honor of joining them again in my hometown, where I was lucky enough to have met them!
