But – after trying to find any and everything elopement related – I noticed that places where these magical moments were front and center, was hard to come by. I didn’t think it was fair that these beautiful displays of love were often overshowed by much larger events.

So, in 2014, Simply Elope was created to fix the lack of elopement centered content. A “one stop shop” for elopement inspiration and planning where couples didn’t have to dig to find the information and inspiration they needed. I loved that site. Unfortunately, mistakes were made, and I wasn’t able keep the site going. I called it quits in 2018, thinking that was the end of my elopement planning journey. I was so very, very wrong.

I found myself keeping my eye on elopement trends, even if I wasn’t going to share it with anyone. Go places and have the same old conversations (with the staff) about venue size even though I had no one to recommend the location to. The ideas never stopped coming, despite having “moved on”. The urge to plan never subsided. I still wanted to help build these beautiful memories for couples. In my heart of hearts, I still wanted to create a space for these kinds of events. I still wanted to be there for the adventures.

Today, I can confidently say that I’m back! We Do. We Did. is my way of answering the call to adventure.
